Publishing

Electronic publishing has really taken off and e-books are becoming more popular now that they can be styled and given a 3D appearance with page-turning and multi media features ...

Music

Still getting to grips with my alto sax. My  taste in music is modern jazz and swing over anything else.

Errol Garner, Dave Brubeck, Stan Getz, Al Cohn, Paul Desmond, now there is Martin Taylor, and Andy Fairweather Low is still about.

Books

I seem to be reading lots of autobiographies at the moment: Bob Monkhouse; Eric Sykes; Tommy Steele. Also a biography of Alfred Wainwright. Then there are the 25 banned books the were made available by The Independent newspaper, currently on ‘A Boy’s Own Story’ by Edmund White. Then I dive into ‘The God Delusion’ by Richard Dawkins and another argument in ‘The Dawkins Delusion’ by Alister McGrath. But I have waiting ‘Fatherland’ by Robert Harris and a couple of books of short stories. On top of these I have various books and papers for research purposes for my new e-book on employment in the UK.
